On March 14, 2015, the Prison Story Project presented it’s first staged reading of women’s work to men incarcerated at RLW Correction Center, followed by a one day storytelling/creative writing intensive for 20 men who volunteered to participate.

We returned the men’s work to them on November 16, 2015, after receiving funding to do so from the Mid-America Arts Alliance, followed by a two-day storytelling/creative writing intensive with 24 men who volunteered to participate. From their work, Troy Schremmer, our theatre director, created a script of their stories and we returned to RLW Prison to present their work to them in March, 2016.

We are pleased to be able to present that staged reading to the Northwest Arkansas community on Thursday, July 14, 2016. The staged reading will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, in the Parish Hall at 7:30pm. Admission is free, with a $10 suggested donation encouraged at the door. No reservations are necessary.

We are grateful to St. Paul’s and the Mid-America Arts Alliance for their continued support.
